Community Hospitals

CSH Surrey currently provides beds in two community hospitals in Surrey: Woking and Walton. We provide 24 hour nursing care for people needing rehabilitation. The aim is to help patients return to living independently, or with care or other support.

Thames Medical Hub

The Thames Medical Hub provides proactive care for older people with frailty and multiple long-term conditions who are registered with GPs in the boroughs of Runnymede and West Elmbridge.

Physio and Occupational Therapy

Our Community rehabilitation service provides rehabilitation for people with neurological conditions, elderly and orthopaedic.

Locality Hub

The Hub services are provided by a multi-disiplinary, integrated team of health, mental health and social care staff. This provides proactive care for older people with frailty and multiple long-term conditions

X-Ray Service

Our outpatient X-ray services provide a general x-ray service to local GP’s, outpatient clinics, inpatient referrals and Walk-in Centre patients.

Commmunity Diatetics

registered dietitians translate scientific information and research about food into practical advice to help people make good lifestyle and food choices.

Podiatry

The Podiatry Service assesses, diagnoses and treats a wide range of health problems affecting people’s feet and lower limbs.

Continence Service

The Continence Services for adults provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of a wide range of conditions that affect the bladder, bowel and pelvic floor. The service also incorporates Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.

Walton-on-Thames community hospital was built in 1993 and specialises in rehabilitation from illness and injury.
There is no accident and emergency facility.

The hospital is run by Central Surrey Health on behalf of the NHS.
